Lunch at Spring Creek after church. Moved furniture in den after came in. Painting that room tomorrow. Not looking forward to that operation.

Getting sloppy again about posting. Since last post:

Built enclosure for ugly, giant sized city garbage cans. Used same material as fence i.e. pine slats and 4x4 posts. Had some trouble fitting everything in place and it took me two days to finish. As usual, everything takes longer than you think it will. If there's a consolation it's the fact that it took only two days rather than the usual four times what I think it'll take. And, to boot, it cost almost 150 dollars for material...a whopping 43 dollars just for galvanized hardware.

Plasma tears again for Ellie last Thursday (August 4). She complained a lot about pain when the machine returned the blood to her arm. Later we found out why. The injection area was infiltrated and leaking blood into her arm. Now she has a huge bruise around her elbow. Apparently the phlebotomist didn't do a good job when she set up the machine.

I was at Senior Road Thursday afternoon and part of Friday. Helped Chuck get a new iPhone and had to get the thing set up for him. Took some doing to get email going mainly because the instructions from Media Suites were wrong.

Weekly yard mowing yesterday (Saturday). Heat had been awful for days now, going over 100 degrees daily. Not much relief in site for heat or some much needed rain. The current drought will probably go down in the record books as worst ever. Not sure how we fared during the 30s when the dust bowl was blowing, though.
